The circumference of the semi circle becomes the circumference of the circular base of the conical cup.
So ,
since the radius of the semi circle is 14 , so circumference of the semicircle=(22/7)*(14)=44
Thus the circuference of the circular base of the conical cup=44
Let the radius of the base of the cup=R
So,
we have,
2*(22/7)*(R*)=44
So,
R=7
The radius of the semicircle becomes the height(depth) of the cone=H
So, H=14
So,
volume of the conical cup
=(1/3)(22/7)*(7*7)*(14)
