Since,   ​IELi2+​​/ IEHe+ =(​ZLi2+/ ZHe+​​)2 = 9/4​

∴ IELi2+​=9/4 â€‹× IEHe+

​=9/4×19.6×10−18

=4.41×10−17 J/atom

Energy in stationary state 

=−IE

= −4.41×10−17 J/atom
