JEE Class main Answered
If we take a small piece of paper and throw it from a certain height then it is very difficult to anticipate the falling position of the paper... it's uncertain to predict but if we make that same small paper a ball then we can predict the falling position of the paper why so?

Expert Answer
When a piece of paper is falling in air , air resistance and wind direction affecting the motion of piece of paper.
hence it is uncertain to predict the movement of paper.
when piece of pare is squeezed so that it becomes small sphere, then surface area is very much reduced .
hence resistive force due to air drag is minimised because air drag depends on surface area.
Hence it is possible to predict the movement of squeezed paper in the form of small sphere.
