144 km/h = 144 × (5/18) = 40 m/s
u = 0, v = 40 m/s, t = 20 s
v = u +at
40 = 0 + a (20)
40 =20 a
a = 2 m/s2
Thus, the total distance covered is,
s = ut +1/2 at2
s = 0 + 1/2 (2) (20)2 = 400 m
Thus, s= 400 m
