ICSE Class 7 Answered
How many revolution would a cycle wheel of diameter 1.6 m make to cover a distance of 352metres? Take π as 22/7

If d is diameter of the wheel, circumference is the distance covered in one rotation.
Hence distance covered in one rotation = π×d = π×1.6 m
number of rotation for covering a distance 352 m = 352 /(π×1.6) = (352×7)/(22×1.6) = 70
