CBSE Class 7 Answered
how does photosynthesis help to maintain the percentage of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere
Asked by Shreeya Nemani | 25 Aug, 2018, 18:41: PM
Humans release carbon dioxide (CO2) into the atmosphere through cellular respiration. This CO2 is used by plants during photosynthesis. During photosynthesis, plants release oxygen (O2) into the atmosphere. The oxygen is used by animals in order to carry out cellular respiration. And in this way, the cycle continues. Animals create CO2 and plants consume it.
