How do plants reproduce?
Asked by ayushmukul | 21st Sep, 2009, 09:27: PM
Plants can reproduce both sexually and asexually.
Vegetative propagation is seen in many plants wherein the plant parts like the roots, stem and leaves develop into new plants. Fragmentation is also seen in simple plants like Spirogyra.
In angiosperms, sexual reproduction occurs by the fusion of the male and female gametes.
