How can an electric heater designed for 220 V be adopted for 110V without changing length of the coil and without change in consumed power

Expert Answer
Consider the coil of electric heater as resistance. If the heater is designed for 220 V , but 110 V supply is given the current passing through the coil is halved.
Hence the heater will work with less temperature
