As shown in figure, at point P, we have two intensity vectors each of magnitude σ/(2εo) due to infinite charged plane sheets.
Since these two vectors are perpendicular to each other, resultant vector is σ/(√2εo).
since σ = √2εo × 10-3 , resultant electric field at P = 10-3 N/C
