1. Plants help in absorption of water and minerals from the soil, providing a proper anchorage to the plant parts.
2. It helps in function of storage of food, support, protection and of vegetative propagation.
3. Plants carry out photosynthesis only during the day and respiration both during the day time as well as night.
4. Leaves are the site of the food making process called photosynthesis.
5. Flowers in trh plants help in making seeds.
