force between protons = e2/ [ (4πε0)r2 ] ; where e = 1.602 × 10-19 C , 1/(4πε0) = 8.99×109 and r = 1 fermi = 10-15 m;
 
force = (1.602)2×10-38×8.99×109×1030 = 231 N
