Factorize the equation

Expert Answer:

let the given poly be p(x)

then we must take factors of -6

they are +1,-1,+2,_2,+3,_3

we see that p9-2) is zero.

so x+2 is a factor of p(x)

so divide p(x) by x+2

we get

[2*x*x]-[5*x]-3

so factorising that

 we get

(2x+1)(x-3)

so total fact. of p(x) is

(x+2)(2x+1)(x-3)
