f(x) is adifferentiable function of x and that f(x)*f(y)=f(x)+f(y)+f(xy)-2 and f(2)=5 then f(3) =??

Hi Gautampompika,
You can solve the question in the following way:
1. First get the value of f(1) by putting x=2 and y=1. f(1) can be found out as the xy term would become 2 and f(2) is known.
2. Put the value of x=3 and y=1 now that you know f(1) and solve the equation to get the value of f(3)
