equivalent weight of chlorine molecule in the equation 3Cl2 +6NaOH --> NaClO3 +5NaCl +3H2O
Please explain along with other example disproportionate reaction

Disproportion is the silmulteneous oxidation and reduction of the same species.
The half cell reactions are :
As from above, 3 moles of Cl2
and 5 moles electrons are involved in the redox reactions.
The molar mass of Cl2 = 71 g/mol.
By using the formula,
Therefore the equivalent mass of Cl2 is 42.6 g/mol
