STEPS:
1. Draw a line AB with the help of exam.
2. Take a point P on AB.
3. Place your compass point on P and an arc of any size above the line such that it should cut the line AB twice.
4. Stretch the compass larger.
5. Place the compass point where the arc cut the line AB on one side ans make the small arc above the line, without changing the size of a compass do this procedure to the other side of aline.
6. Two small arcs should be intersecting, name that point as D.
7. Draw a line from point D to the line AB, we get DP is perpendiculat to AB.
