Dear sir,

Kindly refer to page no. 31 of NCERT book on which it is said that

a_nxⁿ+ a_n-1x^n-1+ ^…+ a₁x+ a₀

I understand the degree on x but I don't understand what it means by a_{n ,}a_n-1

,a_{1 ,}a_{0 .}

Kindly explain this by giving a numerical value to 'n'.

these values of 'a' are real constant which are assocaited with powers of x.

for example:
