Curved Surface area of a cylinder=2r h.
Total Surface area of a culiner =2r ( h+r)= 462 cm2.
It is given that TSA / CSA= 2r(h+r) / 2rh = (h+r) / h =1+(r/h) = 3
Substitute h=r/2 in TSA equation
2r( r/2 + r)= 3r2 = 462
From the above equation r= (462 / 3)=7 cm ;
h= r/2= 3.5 cm
Cylinder Volume V= r2 h =539 cm3 .
