construct triangle ABC so that BC=6 cm ,angle BAC= 40 and the length of the median drawn from A to BC is 7 cm .How to proceed?please tell and also write steps of construction.Thank you

Steps of construction;
i. Draw a line segment BC= 6 cm.
ii. Below BC, construct angle CBE = 40o.
iii. Draw the perpendicular bisector MN of BC, intersecting BC at D
iv. Draw Bo perpendicular to BE, intersecting MN at O.
v. Draw a circle with O as centre and radius equal to OB.
vi. With D as centre and radius equal to 7 cm draw an arc, intersecting the circle in A.
vii. Join AB and AC.
Thus, we obtain triangle ABC.
