Expert Answer

1. 3/8 and 16/24

3 × 24 = 72 and 16 × 8 = 128

72 < 128

Hence,

3/8 < 16/24

2. 2/5 and 10/25

2 × 25 = 50 and 5 × 10 = 50

Hence, 2/5 = 10/25

3. 6/7 and 42/49

6 × 49 = 294 and 7 × 42 = 294

Hence, 6/7 = 42/49
