Expert Answer:

Flies reproduce asexually. The female attracts males by musculature or sex pheromones.

The male injects its sperms into the female fly. 4 to 20 days after copulation, the female fly lays eggs. In about 12 hours the egg hatches into larva. It then changes to pupa. The pupal life lasts for about 5 days and then it transforms into an adult fly.
