Types of motion:- 

 

(i) Uniform motion :- Motion with constant speed is uniform motion

 

(ii) Accelerated motion :- If the speed keep on increasing then it is accelrated motion

 

(iii) Retarded motion :- If the speed keep on decreasing then it is retarded motion

 

Types of motion according to trajectory is given below

 

(i) Motion in a plane :-  If the object moves in a plane in a linear direction for some time , then its a motion in a plane.

 

(ii) Curved motion :- If the object moves in a curved path such as circular path or any other curved path , then it is a curevd motion.
