When there are clouds in the sky, the light is scattered by the water droplets inside the cloud.
Unlike the gas molecules in the atmosphere, these water droplets are about same size as the wavelength of light.
Hence the type of scattering is different, which is known as Mie scattering.
In this type of scattering all wavelengths scattered equally strongly.
The light being scattered from the cloud is therfore the same colouras the light is shining on it from the sun - white
