Assuming that the question is as follows: -
An object travels 18 metre in 4 seconds and next 18 metre in two seconds calculate average speed of the object.
Solution: -
Average speed = Total distance travelled/Total time taken
Here, total distance = 18 m + 18 m = 36 m
Total time taken = 4 s+ 2 s = 6 s
Thus,
average speed = 36/6 = 6 m/s
The average speed of the object is 6 m/s
