we need to use the equation "v2 = u2 + 2×a×S " where v an u are final and initial velocity respectively.
S is the distance travelled between final and initial velocities.
a is acceleration
 
we have,   begin mathsize 12px style a space equals space fraction numerator v squared minus u squared over denominator 2 cross times s end fraction space equals space fraction numerator open parentheses 5.7 minus 0.15 close parentheses cross times 10 to the power of 6 over denominator 2 cross times 10 to the power of negative 2 end exponent end fraction space equals space 2.775 cross times 10 to the power of 8 space m divided by s squared end style
