Allotrope forms or allotropes are the different forms of the same elements with different physicalproperties but similar chemical properties.Carbon exhibits both crystalline and amorphous forms.
Crystalline form: Diamond and graphite are two crystalline forms of carbon with a well-definedstructure.
Amorphous form: Coal, wood charcoal, animal charcoal, lamp black and coke are many amorphousforms of carbon.
