Let D = 14 m be the diametre of well and H = 15 m be the height of well .
Volume V of the earth obtained by digging the well .
V = ( π / 4 ) D2 H = ( π / 4 ) × 142 × 15 m3 = 735 π m3
Let h be the height of embankment .
Volume of embankment = π ( 142 - 72 ) h = 735 π
( 142 - 72 ) h = 735
h = 735 / ( 21 * 7 ) = 5 m
