A point M is reflected in the Y-axis. Co-ordinates of its image are (-4,8). Find the co-ordinates of point M. Find the co-ordinates of the image of M under reflection in the X-axis.

The co-ordinates of the image reflected in the Y-axis = M'(-4,8)
Hence, co-ordinates of point M = (4,8)
When point M is reflected in the X-axis, the co-ordinates of the image = (4,-8)
