Expert Answer
(1) Charge will appear on both inner and outer surface :- True
Given charge will stay outer surface of the conductor.
If the closed conductor is hollow inside, Let us assume some +ve charges are given,
then this +ve charges will be at outer surface. The +ve charges on outer surface will attract -ve charges
of conductor material towards the surface.
Hence inner surface of conductor will have less -ve chrages and more +ve charges
(2) all point on its surface have same charge density :- False
Charge density on a given point of the surface of conductor depends on radius of curvature at that point.
Since the conductor is having irregular shape, radius of curvature at different points will differ,
hence surface charge densitywill vary.
(3) electric field inside is non zero :- False
Electric field inside a enclosed conductor will be always zero
(4) Potential of conductor is changed if shape is changed :- True
Capacitance of the conductor depends on geometrical shape. If shape is changed, capacitance changes.
If given charge is fixed, then potential changes
