As the body is dropped therefore the initial velocity will be 0
u=0
s=49
a=9.8
t=?
using 2nd equation of motion
![s equals u t plus 1 half a t squared
49 equals 0 plus 1 half cross times 9.8 cross times t squared
t equals square root of 10 equals 3.16 m divided by s](https://images.topperlearning.com/topper/tinymce/cache/62925583c45560722d0d1698b275557c.png)
