Distance travelled S = u t -(1/2) g t2 ..................(1)

where u is initial speed, t is time duration of travel and g is acceleration due to gravity.

S = 9.6×6 -(1/2)×9.8×36 = -118.8 m

Hence height of building is nearly equal to 119 m
