Have all necessary material in advance

You can't borrow items such as pens, pencils, rulers or special equipment (Drawing colors, compass box, etc.) while in an examination. Make a list in advance and buy the supplies early. Plan a list of things that you need to take like I card, hall ticket, house key, water bottle etc. Carry some extra money in case of an emergency. Make sure you carry your emergency phone numbers and any other numbers that you may need. Image Courtesy: www.youtoart.com

Make sure travel arrangements to and from school are organized

Organize passes if travel involves travelling by train or bus. This will help settle some of the concern about waiting in the ticket line. Talk about backup travel arrangements, for example, what to do if a bus or train doesn't come. Image Courtesy: www.hindu.com

Visit the school and check the locality. This helps if you need anything in an emergency. Also check the school routine, like the class room and entry / exit points, drinking water fountain, etc. Print a few copies of the timetable and have them in important places like your study room.
