what is conductance and how to calculate it? when i went for the online test for ohm's law isaw questions related to conductance and joules i.e energy ...WHY?????????????

Electrical conductance is a measure of the ease with which an electrical current flows along a particular path and is the reciprocal of resistance. It should not be confused with conductivity, which is a property of a material. It is also different from conduction, which is the process by which an electrical charge flows. The standard unit for electrical conductance is the siemens which may also be called the mho since resistance is measured in ohms

Express conductance mathematically. This can be shown as G = 1/R where G is conductance and R is resistance. We can see from this equation that conductance can be measured in inverse ohms (ohm^-1).
