A uniform sphere of mass M and radius R is surrounded by a concentric spherical shell of same mass but radius 2R. A point mass m is kept at a distance x(>R) in the region bounded by spheres. What is the net gravitational force on the particle?

The gravitational force on the mass will be only due to the inner sphere...but not the outer shell as the gravitational force on any mass kept inside a shell due to the shell itself is always 0.
Grav force on m due to the inner sphere=GMm/X2
