1.WHAT IS THE PROBABILITY OF GETTING A WEDNESDAY IN AN ORDINARY YEAR AND A LEAP YEAR? 2.WHAT IS THE PROBABILITY OF GETTING EXACTLY A WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY IN AN ORDINARY YEAR?

There are 365 days in a ordinary year i.e 52 weeks and one day.
Thus each day would occur 52 times in a year.
Now, the probability for the remaining one day to be a wednesday = 1/7
Since it has in total 7(Mon, Tue, Wed, Thurs, Fri,Sat,Sun) possible outcomes and 1(wed) favourable outcome.
 
Similarly for a leap year there are 366 days. Thus 52 weeks and two days.
Thus the probability here would be = 2/7
 
On the similar try for the second question.
