Objectives of tourism is to gather information, to relieve work related stress, availing health facilities, to experience village life, to see new places and to get pleasure.

Measures that can be taken to solve the problems:

  • Government should make arrangements or tie up with the local agencies to provide the tourists with good transportation facilities.
  • Efforts should be made by the state governments to open small clean budget hotels for tourists.
  • A team of local people should be made to keep a watch on petty thefts and other crimes. CCTV cameras can also be placed at important locations.

  • "Atithi Devo Bhava" in Sanskrit means "Guest is our God". Indians should treat guests as God.
  • This tagline has been used by the ministry of tourism to educate the people about how the tourists should be treated.
  • The concept gives messages to local people like shopkeepers, hotel staff and guides to respect the tourists.
  • If tourists are treated well, they will depart with good memories and ask other people to also visit the place. This will in turn improve the economy of the local tourist place.
  • This concept also educates the tourists to behave well and do not mistreat local people and spoil a beautiful place.

  1. Places with hot springs are Vrajeshwari, Sav, Kapeshwar, Unakeshwar and Unapdev. These springs are located here because of geothermal energy being produced in the earth's crust at these places.
  2. An airport and a national highway is located at Aurangabad which has facilitated the movement of passengers to Ajanta and Ellora caves. Shirdi has also got connected with the railway line and hence see a heavy influx of tourists every year.
