what is the difference between unicellular and multicellular in plants?

Unicellullar organism means that the organism is made up of a single cell whereas multicellular organism means the organism is made up of more than one cell.
In unicellular plants, all the functions are carried out by a single cell. Examples are most algae.
In multicellular plants, the cells are organised into tissues, which carry out the various plant functions. Examples are moss, fern, angiosperms and gymnosperms.
