I was studying electricity but i fail to understand ohm"s law as the laguage used is tough.. please help me, explain ohm"s law in most simplest words. thanks.

Ohm's law states that the current flowing through a conductor is directly proportional to the potential difference V across its ends,provided the temperature and other physical conditions remain the same.
i e I is proportional to V.
i e If we are applying a potential difference V across a conductor then the current flowing through it is directly proportional to V. if the potential diference across the ends of a conductor increases the current flowing through the conductor will also increase.

Here R is the constant of proportionality,is constant for a given metallic wire at a given temperature, and this constant is named as resistance
SI unit of R is ohm ( Ω)
