2  Cell walls are thin.  Cell walls are thin, but with cellulose deposition at corners.  Cell walls are greatly thickened with lignin.

4  Parenchyma tissue acts as a packing tissue, provides support  to plants and also stores food.  It provides mechanical support and elasticity to the plant body.  It provides mechanical strength and and protection  to the plants
