Solar Cooker:

- It consists of thermally insulated box which is insulated from inside by glass wool.

- Since black colour is the good absorber of heat, the inner surface of the box is painted black.

- A plane mirror fixed on the top act as a reflector.

- The box is has double glass lid.

- The containers in which food is cooked are also painted black.

- Food to be cooked is placed in the cooker and the solar cooker is placed in the sunlight.

- Mirror reflects the sunrays.

- Through glass sheets, sun rays fall on the box where they are absorbed and the food gets cooked.
