Expert Answer
Ice changes into water. There are two ways for this change.
1. Increasing Temperature- Temperature of ice is increased by heating. When the temperature is increased, the kinetic energy of particle increases and distance between these particles increases and it is converted into solids. This process is known as melting.
2. Decreasing pressure- After releasing pressure, ice is also converted into the water because when pressure is released, particles come closer to each other and it forms solid.
