Your question is very generic. Do you mean annexations in ancient, medieval or modern period?
Also, many historians claim that the Aryans were first to occupy the country after defeating the Dravidians. But this theory is now contested and it is claimed that the Aryans were the inhabitants of india.
There may be many cases of migration in the Pre-historic period in India about which we have no knowledge. These are only hypothetical assumptions.
