  1. Nomads are people, who move from place to place in search of food and water.
  2. Two main characteristics of the nomadic herders are:
    1. The nomads live in tents and live a simple and hard life.
    2. They rear cattle for food, hides and milk. Surplus animal products are exchanged by them for agricultural products.
    3. Nomads living in the deserts of Saudi Arabia are called Bedouins and those living in Central Asia are called Kirghiz.
