answered-by-expert Expert Answer

While transforming a complex sentence into a simple one introduce a noun, adjective, or or an adverb clause.

Example:

Noun Clause

She proved that she was innocent. (Complex)

She proved her innocence. (Simple)

Adjective Clause

He died in the village where he was born

He died in his native village.

Adverb Clause

Everything comes if a man will only work and wait

Everything comes to a patient and a diligent man

To convert a complex sentence to compound, we add conjunctions.

Example:

1. Putting his coat on, he went out. (Compound)

He put his coat on and went out. (Complex)

2. If you give me the file, I will read it. (Compound)

Give me the file and I will read it. (Complex)
