To find (5d - 4q)2

We use the identity (a - b)2 = a2 - 2ab + b2

Taking a = 5d and b = 4q, we get

open parentheses 5 d minus 4 q close parentheses squared equals left parenthesis 5 d right parenthesis squared minus 2 left parenthesis 5 d right parenthesis left parenthesis 4 q right parenthesis plus left parenthesis 4 q right parenthesis squared
