T = 298K
R = 8.314 Jk–1 mol–1
 
To Find :  ?H = Heat of combustion at constantpressure.
 
Formula :   ?H = ?E + ?nRT
 
The required thermo chemical equation for thecombustion of benzene is
 
C6H6 + 152 O2(g)  -------> 6CO2(g) +3H2O(l)
 
 
SO, ?n = no. of moles of gaseous products– no. of moles of gaseous reactants= 6 – (15/2)= – 1.5
 
?H = – 3263.9 + [(– 1.5) × 8.314 × 10–3Â × 298]= – 3263.9 – 3.71635= – 3267.6 kJ mol–1
