The cost of fencing a garden which is in the shape of a trapezium is ₹11250 at the rate of ₹50 per metre. Find it's height if it's parallel sides are 20m and 25m long.

Expert Answer
Area of a trapezium = 11250 ÷ 50 = 225 m2
→ 1/2×(sum of the parallel sides)×height = 225
→ 1/2×(20 + 25) ×height = 225
→ height = 10 m
