Square of any odd natural number can be expressed as the sum of two consecutive natural numbers.
Proof:-
Let 2n+1 is the odd natural number
(2n+1)2 = 4n2 + 4n + 1 = (2n2 + 2n) + (2n2 + 2n) + 1
Here (2n2 + 2n) and (2n2 + 2n)+1 are two consecutive numbers.
Hence proved.
