The community life lessons taught at home are continued in school. For any child, the school is as important as its family and it is considered to be a child’s second home. This is because a child’s personality is moulded and shaped in school, which reinforces the values taught at home. The school helps in developing good habits and discipline, imparts knowledge, teaches the child to cooperate with others and provides opportunities for a child’s proper development. It is also a place where children can interact, socialise and make friends with children from different communities, which inculcates the value of team spirit and makes them experience the joys of caring and sharing.
