As we know, power is defined as work done per unit time.

i.e.,P equals fraction numerator W o r k over denominator t i m e end fraction

Thus, in our case Ram completed same amount of work in 10 min, whereas Shyam completed in 14 min.

∴P subscript R over P subscript S equals fraction numerator begin display style W over 10 end style over denominator begin display style W over 14 end style end fraction rightwards double arrow P subscript R equals 14 over 10 cross times P subscript S

i.e., PR > PS

From this we can conclude that, power of Ram is greater than power of Shyam.
