Expert Answer
Example:
9262
Addition of the numbers which are on the even places = 9 + 6 = 15 .... (i)
Addition of the numbers which are on the odd places = 2 + 2 ... (ii)
Difference = (i) - (ii) = 15 - 4 = 11 .... this is divisible by 11.
→ 9262 is divisible by 11.
Note: If this is difference came out then also the given number is divisible by 11.
Hope, now you understood the divisibility rule for 11.
